Microscopic findings (H.E. low magnification): Fibrillary astrocytoma demonstrated a diffuse proliferation of tumor cells with small oval nuclei and fine neurites. Nuclear polymorphism was not prominent. Tumor cells invaded the subarachnoidal space in left upper of the figure.
