Microscopic image(HE stain, low power view):Mastopathy is typically represented by a non-inflammatory/neoplastic lesion. Typically hormonal abnormalities are thought to be involved. Characterized by the concomitant proliferative and degenerative changes such as cyst formation, ductal hyperplasia, and sclerosing adenosis.
