- (11)Undifferentiated (anaplastic) carcinoma of the thyroid

Microscopic findings (HE stain, middle power of view). Undifferentiated carcinoma are also associated with a wide variety of histology, including the so-called gcarcinosarcomah. In this case, the tumor cells are predominantly spindle-shaped which is suggestive of a sarcoma related growth.
