- (16)Nephroblastoma (Wilms tumor)
Gross findings: The tumor is grayish-white in color and myxoid, referred as a “ fish flesh”-like. The cut surface also presents focal hemorrhage and necrosis (blue arrows).Nephroblastoma is a most common primary renal tumor of childhood, occasionally associated with congenital anomalies. Immunohistochemically,WT1 is positive.
