Microscopic image (HE stain, high power view): The hepatocellular carcinoma demonstrates pseudo-glandular (adenoid or acinar) growth. The pseudo-glands contain eosinophilic fluid (red allows) and inspissated bile (yellow arrows), unlike true adenocarcinoma.
