Pathology Core Pictures

Microscopic image (AZAN trichrome stain, low power): Liver cirrhosis due to chronic hepatitis. There is a loss of lobular architecture with effacement of normal parenchyma by regenerative hepatocellular nodules of various sizes. Narrow fibrous septa surround and separate regenerative nodule.
