Microscopic image (peripheral blood smear: Giemsa staining): Bone marrow aspirate and peripheral blood smears show neoplastic cells whose nuclei show numerous notches which has led to the designation gflower cellsh (arrows). The latter cells are typically observed only in smear (cytological) specimens.
