Macroscopic image: Multiple foci of hepatocellular carcinoma are seen. On the right side, a large whitish nodule comprising hepatocellular carcinoma shows expansive growth with capsule formation. On the left side are dark greenish nodules, also corresponding to hepatocellular carcinoma. The background liver is cirrhotic and shows greenish tone due to cholestasis.
